Student Bursary Recipient: Fuzail Dawood

I have been on the bursary programme for 3 years (going on 4). My experience has been fantastic and I’ve dealt with very kind, helpful, and organised coordinators for the most part. 

UTT has positively impacted my life. Financially, UTT has eased the burdon of university fees on myself and my parents, and for that, we are forever grateful to the trust for investing in my future and granting me the opportunity to realise my dreams and hopefully make a positive change in South Africa and the world at large in years to come. My top achievements would include: 1) Passing all my modules and making it to final year. 2) Achieving an aggregate of 70% at the end of my 3rd year (2020). My career plans would include being accepted into a masters programme in 2022 if I’m afforded the opportunity to do so. Thereafter I’d like to get a full time job in South Africa or abroad depending on where an opportunity arises.
