The Upstream Training Trust bursary gave me the opportunity to complete both my B. Eng. And M. Eng. Chemical Engineering degrees at the North-West University, one of the most reputable universities in South Africa. It offered me a chance to grow, learn and stretch myself in all areas, without having to worry about financial stability. The mindful attitudes of the personnel ensured that emotional support was not too far away and that reapplying for my bursary each year was a painless and easy task.

My career as a professional engineer would not have been possible without the jumpstart that UTT gave me UTT gave me wings to change the world using education and for that I am forever grateful.
