We proudly celebrate Nobathembu Tyhutyhani, a UTT bursary holder, who presented her master’s research at GeoCongress 2025. Her work, titled “Integration of Core Data and Petrographic Analysis to Determine the Sandstone Reservoir Flow Units in the Bredasdorp Basin, Offshore South Africa,” highlights her dedication to advancing geoscience in the upstream sector. Now registered for her PhD, Nobathembu exemplifies the impact of UTT’s commitment to supporting talented students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds in STEM fields.
