Celebrating Siyamthanda Hoza, a dedicated UTT bursary beneficiary, whose academic journey reflects excellence, resilience, and ambition.

Siyamthanda completed her Master of Science in Geology at the University of Fort Hare, where her research showcased her strong analytical skills and deep interest in South Africa’s geological formations. With support from the Upstream Training Trust, she was able to focus on her postgraduate studies and produce high-quality research.

Now pursuing her PhD in Geoscience at the University of Pretoria, Siyamthanda continues to grow as a future leader in the upstream oil and gas sector.

Siyamthanda is a shining example of the transformative role that financial support and opportunity from UTT can play in nurturing the next generation of geoscientists.
